Two real Cyborgs ROMAN KASHPUR and YURII KOZLOVSKYI will run 42 km of the Tokyo Marathon to support prosthetics and rehabilitation of wounded soldiers with severe injuries and amputations.

The team has already started preparing for the 2024 Tokyo Marathon.
In preparation for the Tokyo Marathon, our Cyborgs are supporting fundraising to finance prosthetics, treatment and rehabilitation of seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
We are currently collecting money for surgical neuromodulation for soldier Denys Dosuzhyi, call sign AYAKS.

Hero's story.
“I am the commander of an anti-tank squad of an anti-tank platoon of a fire support company. I was born in Kherson region and was brought up in an orphanage from the age of 6.
In 2016, I went to defend Ukraine from the russian aggression. . I took part in the battles in Donetsk and Luhansk regions
After the start of the full-scale invasion, our unit held the defence of Kharkiv and took part in the Kharkiv offensive.
In February 2023 I was injured in the spine and got an injury to the spinal cord.
I have been fighting for my health for 10 months. All this time, I have been suffering from terrible neuropathic pain in my lower limbs. The pain is piercing, sometimes it feels as if the muscles are being torn out, as if the feet are being cut. Every day and night, every movement I make is accompanied by excruciating pain. The wheelchair is the only means of transport, because my legs do not work. Because of the pain, I cannot sit for long periods of time.
Doctors say that the only salvation for me is surgical neuromodulation. The operation will be free of charge, but I need to purchase a device that will be implanted in my body. Specialists give good prognoses for my recovery, but first of all, I need to reduce the pain syndrome”.
IN TOTAL, WE COLLECT: UAH 740,000
The delivery time of the components for Denys' surgery is 2 months.
And this means two more months of unbearable pain every day...
In order to speed up the operation as much as possible, it was decided to urgently order the components. In this regard, the Citizen Charitable Foundation made a 50% prepayment in the amount of UAH 370,000.
Soon we will make the second part of the payment, another UAH 370,000.
THE COLLECTION IS ONGOING!

CYBORGS TEAM:

ROMAN KASHPUR on a right leg prosthesis has already run three major marathons - the London Marathon 2023, the New York City Marathon 2023 and the Marine Corps Marathon 2023 in Washington, DC.

YURII KOZLOVSKYI will run the 42 km marathon for the first time. In 2023, Yuriy already ran 20 km of the Brussels Marathon. A full marathon is his next challenge. It is doubly difficult because he is running on a prosthetic left leg and with an orthosis on his right leg.
Thank you guys! We believe in you! We wish you health and inspiration!
We don't stop, we keep on helping...
