On August 3, 2024, in Kyiv, there will be a screening of the film "War Athletes"

"War Athletes" is a documentary about Ukrainian athletes during the Russo-Ukrainian war. This is a film about athletes who gave their lives fighting for Ukraine, about athletes who continue to fight for their homeland, about people who replaced training courts and sports equipment with a trench and a machine gun..... and about those who, despite the circumstances, find the strength to continue training and are preparing to once again declare the unbreakable Ukrainian spirit on the world sports scene.

The main character of the film is Roman Kashpur, a soldier and ambassador of the "Citizen" Charity Foundation. He lost his leg in the war but returned to sports and became the first soldier with a prosthetic leg to complete the London Marathon.

He will join the screening along with Mykola Ponych, the film's producer. You will have the opportunity to ask them your questions.
