Implants for Cyborgs: Project Results

We report on the implementation of the project “Implants for Cyborgs 2.0”. Thanks to the support of our British partners, Ukraine Charity, we were able to help Ukrainian veterans who sustained severe injuries.

Main results of the project:
• UAH 749,216 — total cost of the purchased implants
• UAH 479,122 — charitable contribution from partners Ukraine Charity
• UAH 270,094 — co-financing by Citizen Charity Foundation

Thanks to this support, the following were purchased and implanted:
• 5 hip joint endoprostheses;
• 3 customized implants for skull and facial reconstruction;
• 1 knee joint endoprosthesis.

As a result, 8 wounded veterans received the implants they needed for surgery and a chance to return to an active life.

For each of them, this is not just medical assistance. It is the opportunity to walk again, to move, to live without pain, and to recover after the war.

We sincerely thank our British friends and partners Ukraine Charity for their trust, support, and solidarity with Ukraine.

It is thanks to such partnerships that we are able to help those who gave their health for our freedom.
