A team of Ukrainian veterans completed a 20 km marathon in Brussels and raised funds for the rehabilitation of wounded soldiers

On 22-29 May 2024, the defenders visited Brussels.

The aim of the initiative is to draw the world's and Europe's attention to the importance of veterans' rehabilitation and to express support for those who have given so much to defend their homeland.

As part of the visit, a team of veterans consisting of: Roman Kashpur, Yurii Kozlovskyi, Vladyslav Shatilo, Tetyana Kozlovska, Yuliia Maslikova-Kashpur, Roman Panchenko, Ivan Drozd, Serhii Kalytyuk, completed a 20 km marathon in Brussels.

We are proud of each of you! You are an example of incredible strength of spirit, resilience and indomitability!

During their stay in Brussels, the veterans visited the European Parliament and held a number of important meetings at NATO, contributing to our joint efforts to support Ukraine. Thus, a meeting was held with representatives of the NATO International Staff, the UK Mission to NATO and the NATO Public Diplomacy Division. Veterans had the opportunity to share their experiences and opinions with NATO staff and delegations.

As a result of the project, part of the funds raised was transferred to the Citizen Charitable Foundation. The EUR 1,000 received will be used for prosthetics for soldier Oleh Andriyenko - https://ctzn24.com/ua/hero/113
