A charity presentation of the film ATHLETES OF WAR was held in the Netherlands. Funds were raised for prosthetics for a seriously wounded veteran. Thank you!

In May 2024, a charity presentation of the film ATHLETES OF WAR was held in Middelburg, the Netherlands. 

This is a film about athletes who gave their lives fighting for Ukraine, about athletes who continue to fight for their homeland, about people who replaced training courts and sports equipment with a trench and a machine gun..... and about those who, despite the circumstances, find the strength to continue training and are preparing to once again declare the unbreakable Ukrainian spirit on the world sports scene.

The main goal of the documentary Athletes of War is to prevent Russian athletes from participating in the 2024 Olympic Games by showing that sport is an integral part of any state's policy.

The main hero of the film is Roman Kashpur, an ambassador of the Citizen Charitable Foundation, who is preparing for and running the 42nd km of the London Marathon in 2023 using a prosthesis.

From the team of the Foundation, we would like to thank a responsive volunteer, responsible citizen Yuriy, for organising a charity demonstration of the film ATHLETES OF WAR in the Netherlands in support of the CYBORGES program!

During the screening of the film, €2,426.05 was raised and donated for the prosthetics of severely wounded soldier Oleg Andrienko.

The people of the Netherlands always remain an example of strong support for Ukraine, which strengthens hope for the Victory and a better future for Ukraine!
