Soldier Volodymyr, call sign TSYHAN

My name is Volodymyr. I was given the call sign TSYHAN by my comrades in arms in the first days of the full-scale invasion.

On 24 February 2022, despite having a second disability group, 
I went to the military enlistment office. I was mobilised voluntarily, because I believe that it is the duty of every man to defend his homeland. 

I served as a machine gunner in the first tank brigade, the first rifle battalion, in the second company in a machine gun platoon.

After 20 months of service, I faced a health problem. Excessive loads had taken their toll on my hip joints. For some time, I was on painkillers. Every morning started with pills. But in a few months they stopped working, and I was forced to go to hospital. 

After examination, the doctors determined that I needed surgery, namely, endoprosthetics of the left hip joint. 

Now I can barely move, the pain is bothering me every day. I have turned for help to the charity foundation and all those who care. 

I am only 30 years old. I dream of an end to the war! I understand how much work is ahead of us, and I am still young and can be useful to our society.

According to the doctors' decision, after a detailed examination of the patient, it was decided to replace the endoprosthesis with a hip prosthesis by aap GmbH Joints. Therefore, the amount of the fee was reduced.
