In 2024 I voluntarily joined the Defense Forces of Ukraine. During this time I participated in combat operations in the Donetsk and Sumy directions.
On March 14, in the Pokrovsk direction, my life changed. During a rotation, my three fellow soldiers and I came under attack from an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle. We sustained severe wounds. For the next three hours the enemy continued to attack us with FPV drones, attempting to finish off the already wounded. But we were lucky — the evacuation group was able to reach us and take us out.

I have a severe injury to my left leg: lacerated wounds, fractures of the femur, and numerous fragments in both lower limbs. I survived, and now my fight continues in rehabilitation. My main task today is to restore the functioning of the knee joint and the leg as a whole.
I am currently undergoing recovery at the "Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center" of the NCSPI. The first course has already been completed, and there are already results. In one month I was able to completely give up crutches. But much work still lies ahead to restore mobility to the leg. That is why the rehabilitation needs to continue. My nearest goal is to independently bend the leg to 90 degrees and try to restore the ability to run.
I want to recover so that I can continue to serve and return to my favorite activities. And I also have a dream — one day to get on a snowboard and descend from the mountains of Japan. Perhaps today there is still much work between me and this dream, but I know what I am going through this path for.
Unfortunately, I cannot manage on my own, so I am compelled to ask for help. I am doing everything that depends on me: I work hard in my sessions, develop my leg, and step by step return movement to it.
Thank you to everyone who will be by my side on this journey.
