I hold the rank of junior sergeant.

In 2014-2015, I served in the Chernihiv Special Police Patrol Service Battalion, which liberated many Ukrainian cities in 2014. And it was as part of this unit, while performing a task to protect the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, that I got a back injury in May 2015.

At first, I was treated with ordinary injections to relieve the symptoms, but later I had to undergo a blockade. Such measures really helped, and for several years I lived a full life and was doing my favourite job in the service sector (taxi).

In 2022, I took part in the defence of the city of Chernihiv in a Territorial Defense unit.

In February 2024, I was mobilised to the A 4740 unit, where during my service I suffered a recurrence of the injury received in 2015.

After conservative treatment, there was no improvement, so various examinations (MRI, CT, X-rays) were performed and revealed damage and displacement of the L1S5 disc, which leads to unbearable back pain, numbness and pain in the right leg.

After examining the scans, the doctors concluded that surgical intervention was necessary (installation of pins and cage, decompression). The operation will be free of charge, but it is necessary to purchase components for the spine. Unfortunately, I can't buy them on my own, so I'm appealing to all those who care for me, for help. 

Despite all my current circumstances, I am making plans for the future.

Once the war is over, and it will definitely end in our victory, I want to take part in the state eco-programme (recycling of tires and pipes) so that our Ukraine becomes not only independent but also free of environmental problems.
