In 2013 I had gotten into a car accident. A half of my foot was amputated, and the remaining part was given a skin graft. The damage was very severe.
I was walking on crutches for 1.5 years, and 5.5 more years – with a walking cane. At the same time, I was working as a mechanic at a service station. I decided not to give up on my profession.
After seven years of sufferings, I decided to get my foot amputated and to get a prosthesis.
I joined the army as a mechanic, with 11 years of experience in the profession. Vehicles are always breaking down, especially in combat conditions. Mechanics are inevitably needed in war times.
I am now a volunteer mechanic. Unfortunately, because of the excessive weight load (military equipment weighs 15-20 kg, plus I have resumed running), the prosthesis got worn out, and the prosthetic socket broke down.
I need help in acquiring the broken part of my prosthesis.
